CLEAR SCOPE. CONFIDENT DECISIONS.

Your quotes stay
in your browser.

How QuoteCheck stores comparisons locally, how to back up and delete your work, and what the prototype does not collect.

Local processing

The local beta processes PDF text, image OCR, tables, structured fields, calculations and review records in your browser. It stores tasks in IndexedDB on this device. No account, cloud synchronization, quote upload, session replay or external error collection is enabled. The workspace and recovery pages load no analytics. Public pages may load optional, consent-based analytics only if this deployment enabled it; nothing loads before you explicitly agree.

Backups and deletion

Download a JSON backup to restore elsewhere. CSV and printable reports contain quote information: handle downloaded files appropriately. Original files are saved only when you choose to keep them on this device. JSON backups contain structured values and text snapshots, but no originals. Deleting a task removes its task record and saved originals; the previous manual workspace uses a separate database. Clearing browser site data can remove all saved tasks. QuoteCheck cannot recover data cleared from this browser.

Technical requests

Loading this website requests its own HTML, scripts and styles from the hosting server. Standard hosting access logs may include network metadata, but quote content is not sent in URLs or payloads. The workspace does not load third-party analytics, remote fonts or customer support scripts.

Future changes

Local PDF and OCR extraction are available within the stated limits. Cloud AI services and payment are disabled. The workspace and recovery pages load no analytics. Public pages may load optional, consent-based analytics only if this deployment enabled it; nothing loads before you explicitly agree. Any later third-party processing must disclose its destination and retention before enabling it.

If this deployment enables optional analytics and you agree, the analytics service may collect coarse region, device and browser information; it does not receive quote or workspace data. You can withdraw your choice at any time from the “Analytics settings” control in the page footer.

From quote review to procurement handoff

Question text, replies and commercial terms remain local with the task. Back up before clearing browser storage and close older writable tabs: an old tab’s explicit ‘clear all’ action can still erase newer records. Recovery files do not contain original source binaries. Local processing still downloads same-origin scripts, workers and OCR models; it is not a zero-network promise. The workspace and recovery pages load no analytics. Public pages may load optional, consent-based analytics only if this deployment enabled it; nothing loads before you explicitly agree.
